Schedule

In the Group Stage teams will compete in 2 games each day against different colleges in a Best of 3 format. Teams will compete over 3 days for a total of 6 games per college throughout the Group stage. These will take place on the following dates:

Due to the number of colleges registered, the group stage games will be doubled to 6 games instead of 3 games due to participation levels.

College Group Schedule

Group Stage games will be played off-stream and won’t be broadcasted by the production team at British Esports Association. We do however encourage Colleges to support students in developing their own stream on behalf of the College to showcase to other students to follow and support.

Once the Group Stage games have been completed, the group tables will be updated and will display the teams that have qualified for the Playoffs Stage on Friday 3rd December. Teams will be scored in order of:

Points (3 points = win, 0 points = loss), then GD (Goal Difference i.e. Goals For - Goals Against = GD).

Teams will then be seeded into the Quarter Finals of the Playoffs Stage using the following seeding format.

Playoffs

Qualified colleges will compete on Saturday 4th December to conclude the Quarter Finals with all 4 games Quarter Finals taking place on the same day. Each college will play a Best of 5 format with the winning teams progressing to the Semi Finals.

Colleges will compete on Sunday 5th December to conclude the Semi Finals and shortly after the Grand Finals. The Semi Finals format will be a Best of 5 and winning teams will progress to the Grand Finals which will consist of a Best of 7 format.

The Playoffs Stage is a Single-Elimination format meaning there will be no ‘Lower Bracket’ in play.
