1. Player ​and ​Team ​Eligibility

1.1. Team eligibility

1.1.1. Each team must have a designated Leader that satisfies the following conditions:

1.1.1.1. A registered staff member at the Institution that the team represents. 

1.1.1.2. Able to act as representative and point of contact for British Esports.

1.1.1.3. Able to supervise all online interaction between Players at that Institution, even if remotely. This can include before and after matches, as well as during.

1.1.2. A team must consist of 1 player and must be from the named Institution.

1.1.3. A player must be aged 12+.

1.2 Roster Requirements and Substitutions 

1.2.1. Institutions can enter as many teams (individuals) as they please. 

1.2.2. Due to the title being a 1v1, there will be no roster changes unless there are exceptional circumstances. Please notify a member of Champs staff if you need to change a player on the roster. 

1.2.3. Individuals can compete in the cups as well as the Open and National titles, aside from Women in Esports’ Cups. Individuals can not play more than one title per day, even when a reschedule must occur.

2. Game setup

2.1. Game Setup:

2.1.1. The team that is the designated “Home” team will create the lobby and will add the “Away” team to that lobby. Teachers are expected to communicate via the Student Champs platform to get the correct usernames added.
 - Go to FIGHTING GROUND.
 - Select ONLINE.
 - Select CUSTOM ROOM.
 - Singles
 - One on One
 - Rounds: 3 
 - Timer: 99
 - Advantage: No advantage
 - Control Type: Modern or Classic

2.2. Stage Selection

2.2.1. Players will alternate choosing stages between games. One (1) GAME is considered to be a best of three (3) ROUNDS. Each round of one game will be played on the same stage.
 - Home team (team on left) will choose the stage for the first game.
 - Away team (team on right) will choose the stage for the second game.
 - If a third game is necessary, home team will choose the stage.
