Overwatch 2 Student Champs 22-23
The Student Champs are open to all secondary schools, Further Education (FE) Colleges and Alternative Provision (AP) schools in the UK and are PC-based. Students must be aged 12+ to participate.
Overwatch 2 (PEGI 12+) is a vibrant first-person shooter. Teams of 5 pick a variety of unique heroes to achieve different map objectives, such as escort the payload and control the point.

Please note: Overwatch 2 Winter Season matches will commence one week later than the other tournaments due to the game release date.
Each student will need a valid BattleTag for their in-game name on their roster. Please include the full tag in the roster, e.g. BEF#0000.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT
For Champs 2022-23, the tournaments will now be a year-long format, with the opportunity for promotion between divisions, and introduce regionalisation.
Winter season:
Initial regionalisation and divisions
- Swiss qualifiers
- North Regionals (Div 1 and Div 2)
- South Regionals (Div 1 and Div 2)
Spring season:
Chance for promotion from Winter into a higher division or the Nationals. New teams enter div 2 after swiss qualification.
- Nationals: top from North and South Div 1
- North Regionals (Div 1 and Div 2)
- South Regionals (Div 1 and Div 2)
